Itch reviews : In2it Moisture Release Lipstick

Hiya all. Last week I went to my local Guardian pharmacy to get a refill for my shower foam. So i thought I's check out the cosmetics isle since I'm there already (Hubby: What? You will always check out ALL the cosmetics isle, ANYWHERE. Me: True..bad news for my wallet (and his too occasionally)). 

OK, so back to the review. I was attracted to In2it new line of lipstick because  of it's packaging. It is the Moisture Release Lipstick line. I love In2it lipsticks. They have a lot of range and they are affordable and during sale they can be dead cheap! Here's what they say about the lipstick on the package:

Uber cute casing: Gunmetal, diamante studs and lace pattern details

• Contains moisturising beads with lip plumping and lip nourishing ingredients that are released during wear.
• Contains sweet alsomd oil, evening primrose oil and vitamin for enhanced moisturisation.
• Contains sun protection to a level of SPF 25 UVA/UVB.
• No fragrance

Sadly, there are only five colours for this line. All are satin finishes except Seashell and Sable are satin with a little bit metallic.

So here's my take on them.

PROS:

1. If you have dry lips (or your lips tend to get dry with lipstick) then I would really recommend you get this . It is really moisturising. It gives a little bit of plumping though, not much.
2. Long lasting.
3. Really nice corally pink colours and Bare is a nice nude.
4. Cute packaging.
5. Affordable. It retails at RM19.90 (I think), but i got mine for only RM9.90 (intro sale)!

CONS:

1. Limited colours available (five only)
2. It's a bit sheer, you will need a few coats.

I bought two colours: Seashell and Sable. I love them both!

Itch tips: Jamu mengembalikan kegadisan.

Salam semua. Hmm dari tajuk tu janganlah anggap yang kita akan kembali menjadi seperti seorang gadis *ehem*. Cumanya bagi kaum ibu diluar sana ini adalah merupakan satu ikhtiar yang boleh dilakukan untuk menjaga kesihatan disamping mengecilkan liang jima'. Honestly, saya pun tak pernah cuba, cuma terbaca dalam buku "Rahsia Wanita" karangan As-Syeikh Muchtar A.B. Siapa yang berminat boleh mencubanya. InsyaAllah saya pun nak cuba juga. 

Bahan-bahan:

10 biji buah pinang

Segenggam daun pucuk jambu biji

2 biji buah pala

Sesuku camca teh garam

1 camca daun teh asli

5 lembar daun sirih

2 gelas air

Cara membuatnya:

Hiris buah pinang nipis-nipis.

basuh kesemua bahan tadi dengan bersih.

Masukkan kesemuanya didalam kuali / periuk dan biarkan mendidih sampai sari pati dari semua bahan tadi keluar dan bercampur dengan air rebusan.

Rebus hingga air rebusan tadi menjadi lebih kurang satu setengah gelas.

Tapis air rebusan dan minum pada waktu malam sebelum tidur.

(Jika kelat boleh tambah air sikit, kalau nak tambah gula melaka sikit pun boleh)

Aturan meminum:

Setiap kali minum ambil setengah gelas sahaja.

Baki segelas simpan di dalam peti sejuk dan boleh buat dua kali minum lagi.

Sebelum minum hendaklah dipanaskan dahulu dan boleh dicampur air hangat jika terlalu pekat.

Ok, bila minum tu tetapkan dan yakinkan hati bahawa segala ikhtiar ini dilakukan untuk kesejahteraan rumahtangga. Mulakan dan sudahi dengan nama Allah kerana segalanya berlaku adalah atas kehendak-Nya. Jangan lupa selawat juga..

Orait harap korang semua bole cuba. Kalau ada feedback yang positif jangan lupa bagitau ok.

FOTD: Simple winged eye

Here's a very simple look and this is how I would usually wear my face if I'm wearing shawls. Just to get that dessert look hehe..hope you like it!

On my face:

Naturactor cream foundation in shade 151.

Naturactor loose powder in shade 41.

NYX mosaic powder in Highlight.

Sojo blush (contouring the cheeks and jawline).

NYX mosaic powder in Dare.

On my eyes:

88 colour eyeshadow palette (dark brown for brows, medium brown for crease, satin off white for highlighting browbone, inner corners and center of lids).

Heavy Rotation perfect liquid eyeliner pen in black.

Avon Ultra Luxury eyeliner in dark brown (lower and upper waterlines).

Loreal Voluminous mascara in carbon black.

On my lips:

Mac (imitation) in shade 04 (kinda like satin nude with a litte hint of red)

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in airy fairy.

Any thoughts?

Itch reviews : Bio-Essence Multi-Effect BB Cream

Hiya all. So today i would like to review a BB cream i have been trying out lately.

It is the Bio-Essence Multi-Effect BB Cream. It has SPF 25 / PA++ (PA stands for Protection Grade of UVA. There are PA+, PA++ and PA+++. Hence, PA+++ has a higher level of protection which is suitable for those who are outside most of the time).


Sadly, there's no ingredients list on the product or at the box. But here's the list of some of the good stuff they've put in it:

• Titanium dioxide (sun protection)
• Ginkgo biloba extract (rejuvenates the skin, boost collagen formation)
  
• Ginseng (balance oil gland production)
  
• Angelica root (refines pores)

Here is what the swatch looks like. As like most BB cream, it is a bit thick. But it blends well into the skin.


So here's the verdict:
Coverage: It's buildable. It can cover pores, freckles and acne scars nicely. But not redness. I have to put on concealer on my nose (redness) after the BB cream. It can also even out my skin tone.

Oil control: Em..it's quiet decent for me. I only need to powder once during lunchtime. But i do think this will vary on different people because of the way our skin reacts to certain ingredients in the product.
Shade: Only one shade available. But it can easily blend in with light to medium toned skin.
Packaging: Love it. Comes in a convenient squeezie and it's PURPLE!
Price: Quiet affordable. RM69.60 at any local pharmacy (Watsons, Guardian etc)
