Itch reviews: Skin 79 Super + Beblesh Balm

Assalamualaikum and hiya to all..

Wa..back to back reviews. Sorry for the lack of looks and tutorial postings. Kinda busy with work. But there are some looks ideas lurking at the back of my mind. Stay tune for those ok.

I bought this in the mini tube when I was at a beauty expo in JB recently. So I've been playing around with it and it's time for a review :)

I think many of you have heard about this bb cream. It is probably between ones that are famous in the make up community, and Skin 79's bestsellers.

Here is what the cream looks like straight out of the tube. The consistency is not that thick so it is easy to blend with a foundation brush or finger. But I suggest to use a brush because you'll use less product.

As like other bb creams the colour is some what light with pinkish undertones. But it blends nicely to your skin.

You may notice that it creates a greyish hue on the skin. But after a while, it absorbs and changes to a skin tone colour.

Here's my take on the cream.

Pros:
  1. Easy to blend. Probably the easiest bb cream to blend among all that I've tried (but hey there are many that I haven't :) ). I like how it settles  and evens out my skin.
  2. Don't need that much to cover the whole face.
  3. Coverage is good but you still need concealer for nasty blemishes.
  4. Has SPF protection of up to 25.
  5. Comes in a mini size which is handy for traveling.
  6. Oil control is good. But again this depends. I have oily skin and I blotted each time after meals. But it is made for oily skin and has oil controlling properties.

Cons:
  1. A bit on the pricey side.
  2. Not pretty sure about the wrinkle free promise because I can still see my fine lines after applying.
Will I repurchase? I don't know, I really like it but I still do have a lot of other bb creams to try hehe..

Here's me wearing the bb cream. I have to say though this bb cream looks nice in pictures.

You can purchase yours online. There are many out there who sell it. You can try here. I do think you can buy it at selected Sasa outlet (not really sure).

Ok I hope this helps. Do comment if you got anything to say about this bb cream ok.
Have a colourful day ye..

Itch reviews: Biore Cleansing Oil

Assalamualaikum and hello to all.

It's time for another review. Today's product is the Biore Cleansing Oil.

Before using this, my cleansing routine for make up kinda tires me. As much as I love make up , I do hate the process of taking it off. I think most of  us do the same things to remove make up eg use eye makeup remover to remove eye make up and lipstick, use a cleansing milk to remove foundation and others and then use normal cleanser to wash any residue of all the cleaning done before. It usually takes more than 10 minutes to do all that. On a tiring day, that is just a lot of time when all you want to do is go straight to your bed!

I've never been a fan of cleansing oil, since I have oily skin and I thought that it is just plain stupid to put more oil on my skin. Plus most of them are expensive. There are many labels that sell cleansing oils. MAC, SK-II, Bobbi Brown, Kiehls, Kose , DHC and the most popular one I think are the Shu Uemura Oils (since they promote them ever so often).

I saw a bottle of the Biore Cleansing Oil in my sister's bathroom when I came to visit and I tried it. I fell in love instantly. It cleanse off all the make up easily including my waterproof mascara and lipgloss. It can even be used while you are in the showers (cleansing oils must be used dry or it would emulsify). It stings my eyes a bit but most eye remover do that too so nothing to be trippy about. It leaves skin feeling dry a bit after use but nothing greasy which  I like. I quickly went to the nearest Guardian to purchase mine and it is so cheap compared to other cleansing oils!

So here's my take on it:
Pros:
  1. Cheap. Retails at RM 23 at Guradian, Watsons and Sasa.
  2. Convenient. You can use it wet or dry. I only use this one product for cleansing and then mosturise.
  3. Pump works nicely. You can pump the exact amount needed. Usually 2 pumps for me.
  4. Nice smell. I think it's a cross between green apple and grape smell.
  5. No greasy residue.
Cons:
  1. Stings the eyes a bit.
  2. A bit drying after use (yeah go figure, oils could be drying)
Will I repurchase? Of course!

Okay, I hope this review helps. Do you use cleansing oils? Do share with me ait.

Have a colourful day ek!

Selamat Hari Raya 2010

Assalamualaikum dan salam semua.

SELAMAT HARI RAYA SEMUA!! (rayakan sebulan..heheh)

Ok, harap sambutan hari raya korang pun meriah macam saya. Kongsila sama-sama kalau ada kisah menarik ye.

Have a colourful day ek!

Itch looks: Soft Smokey Bronze

Takpe, saya pun bukannya expert sangat, jadi sama-samalah kita berlatih ek. Saya gunakan 88 eyeshadow palette. Kod warna boleh dirujuk di sini.

JOM BERSOLEK!

1. Seperti biasa, ratakan foundation pilihan dan kemudian tambah concealer dimana yang kita rasa perlu.

2. Kemudian ratakan bedak debu. Sikit je jangan banyak-banyak tau.

3. Sebelum menyolek mata, sapukan base mata terlebih dahulu. Bole guna cream eyeshadow warna kulit kalau tak de eye shadow base.

Jangan makan banyak sangat..hehe. Saya akan update post hari raya nanti. Kongsila pengalaman raya tahun ni sama-sama ok.

Have a colourful day guys!

Itch tips: Inspirasi solekan hari raya

Salam semua..

Raya dah nak dekat ni. Baju dah siap (tahun ni tema kaler dark blue), kuih dah siap (beli jek..heheh), rumah pun dah separa siap. Persiapan raya korang macam mana?

Hari ni surfing idea nak solek gimana lebaran nanti. Ini beberapa gambar yang saya dapat. Hmm..comey2 semuanya...

Antara idea yang dipikirkan ialah:

Kelabu and plum
Seksi dan seductive
Inpirasi Bollywood. Sesuai buat yang bermata besar.
3. Bermain dengan warna. Just for fun!

Bermain dengan eyeliner. Nice!

Suka warna purple!

Kalau nak share idea dipersilakan.
SELAMAT BERSHOPPING RAYA!!!

Have a colourful day!
