Itch reviews: NYX Mosaic Powder Blush

Peace be upon you and hiya to all!

Today I'm reviewing an item from NYX. The NYX Mosaic Powder Blush. I have them in only two colours. Highlighter and Dare.

Although there are about five colours all together in one compact, but the colours work really well when blended together. Here's swatches (quite heavily) of the colours.

Highlight: I'm a sucker for highlighters. When I saw this I immediately knew I had to have it. It's not shimmery nor matte. It gives out a really soft pearlescent sheen. I wear this almost everyday. I put this on my cheek bones, nose bridge, brow bones, inner corner of the eye, center of the eyelid and also on my cupid's bow. And being in powder form, anyone can use it, it's so easy to apply.

Dare: Dare has subtle shimmers and upon blending will give you a nice natural finish. The colour is a blend of peach, bronze and coral with pink. The result, ohh so lovely! Love it. For darker skin I think this would not show up that well. But it could be a nice highlighter.

The thing I don't like about this is that the colours are a bit sheer and by afternoon they tend to fade. I think this differs individually. Reapplication is needed. Sometimes I put a cream base, but I don't have a coral cream blush. When using a pink one the colour kinda turned out different. And of course these are only available online. Here's where you can purchase them at Cherryculture or nyxcosmetics.

They sell around USD5-USD8 depending on where and when you buy them. You can also parcipate in sprees at Lowyat.com

Will I repurchase, yes but only these two colours, Because they are so versatile. They look good on cheeks and eyes. I wore them in many of my looks here in beautyitch :) Plus i don't mind reapplying and sheer blushes works for me because you don't want to be walking around school with a bright dab of blush on your cheeks.

I hope this helps. Drop a word if you have used this.

Have a bright one everybody!
