People say a red lipstick brightens any outfit and smile.
Today trying out the classic look of pairing a red lip with neutral winged out eye. I thought that I've already made the wing a bit thick, but not. The classic look has a much, much thicker wing and line.
I rarely wear red lipstick to work, but I like wearing it out. The thing with red lips is that it always needs to look flawless, so you have to touch up more often :(
The eyes are very simple, just a shimmery medium brown colour with highlighted inner corners. For lips, I lined and filled it with a red lipliner, then applied my colour with a lip brush. I use a cotton bud to clean up the edges.
On my face:
Derma Color Camouflage Cream in D64
Naturactor loose powder in 41
A dark brown colour for contouring
A shimmery white eyeshadow for highlighting
A pink eyeshadow for blush (all taken from the 18 colour palette)
On my eyes:
NYX Runway Palette in Strike a pose (shimmery bronze)
18 colour eyeshadow palette (shimmery white)
Rimmel Two tone eye definer in Trend Setter
Kiss Me Heavy Rotation liquid liner
Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara
On my lips:
Simply Pretty lip defining in Red Flush
Menow Splendid Honey Lipgloss in 07
